Well, that was lame. Though as Craig pointed out, not entirely lame -- I did make it through forms a few times. And stretch. And jump a little. But the strained hamstring that I was trying to nurse through tonight (figuring that I'll have two and a half weeks for it to heal) decided that it was time for me not to kick tonight. I could have pushed it (it wouldn't have even hurt much after the first couple, though I would have felt like crap in the morning) but I didn't. See, I can be sane. Instead I sat out of most of the fundmentals and jumps, and played with my PDA and answered questions from various parents. (Increasingly, the parents know me, and the beginning kids are making a point to say goodbye when they leave and stuff. I'm amused... and remembering the things I like about teaching kids.)

But it was the last class of the quarter. And now I have until the sixth to heal up my minor injuries, hike, party, destress, plan next year's garden, and do lots of Taiji ;-) (And work on my cartwheels and bridges, and at least for the next week anything but kick over my head.) And except for the small muscle on the right side of my neck that's having a bit of a bout of hysteria, it is all minor stuff, training and over training injuries as opposed to the more esoteric injuries I specialize in. That in itself is kind of reassuring.

Got plenty of sleep last night, will probably actually feel caught up tomorrow.
