Feb. 5th, 2004 03:22 pmSquirrels frolicking in the woods. "Frolicking" really is the right word. Is it squirrel mating season, then?
Greens up in the garden, and brocolli starting to form heads. More leeks than I know what to do with. (Anyone want some nice tender leeks? They're very tastey...)
Monday I pruned the maple tree in front of the door. Still into this whole negative space thing. Like where it's going, though it's not quite there. By next year, I hope, the major re-shaping will be in place. Less and less like an inverted bowl every year.
Time to plant seeds.
Time to order more seeds.
Beets! Must do something interesting with beets.
Everything is very messy and overgrown, but in this way that just begs for intervention...
