Feb. 16th, 2004 02:02 pmThe day is really looking up. I'm still tired, but it no longer hurts to breathe. (The stubborn bit in my back finally opened up.) Tired isn't really that bad, all things considered.
I'm currently in the Woodinville Barnes & Noble's waiting for my car's clutch cable to be replaced. Which means I'm actually paying for bandwidth (maybe -- I ight have a free day, not sure) but it seemed in order. I seem to have misplaced my cell phone, and I had to be reachable somehow...
(By the way -- if anyone at the polyglot happens to see my cell lying around, a small blue nokia 8290, could you let me know? I knew I was out of it yesterday, but the evidence keeps piling up to suggest that I shouldn't have been out unchaperoned...)
Odd... walked up here from the mechanic's, with my hair down, and only my light jacket (and yoga pants, another good call). Got completely soaked, even to my poor book. I don't think there really can be ice in the rain -- doubt it's that cold, it's probably just the force of the wind. But the rain stung and bit my face. And about halfway over, I just felt like laughing. Maybe it's just that my body is more or less back in balance after some pretty iffy days, but it all just felt good.
