Mar. 18th, 2004 11:59 amYesterday I got dizzy in class again. Except this time I wasn't sick, my neck was fine, and my body wasn't even particularly tired. It wasn't horribly dizzy, more of a weak, shakey sort of thing. More like low blood sugar than anything else. Especially since it didn't start until near the end of sword.
Except I thought I'd eaten well earlier in the day. And then I gobbled down a luna bar during sword, which helped a little, but didn't last. So I ate a bunch of phad thai during Chen, which helped a bit more... it was kind of eerie, feeling that drained, without feeling sore muscles or that kind of more overt fatigue. I wonder how much this has been playing into other days when I've felt strange.
Five hours really is a long time to train. It's getting easier (especially if this was just low blood sugar) -- I'm not horribly sore at the end any more. Maybe I need to find a way to do this more than once a week.
