tylikHey, as many of you know (but more to the point, several do not) I've been running a small, fairly informal hiking club known as "Freaks and Geeks in the Peaks" for the past couple of years. fgp.) We usually do hikes every few weeks spring through fall, though one of these years we're going to do hotspring runs, snowshoeing and cross country skiing through the winter.
Anyhow, things there are getting started up for the year...
The group is kind of aimed at hiking with cool people (or at least people who won't run screaming from us) in a fairly mellow manner. The hikes have ranged between easy and moderate, and especially on the easy ones the pace is usually pretty relaxed -- I really like hiking, and I want to make it easy for my friends to enjoy hiking too.
