Pleasantly tired. Went hiking today -- we aimed for Trout Lake, but missed (or rather, either the road was closed, or the directions faulty) and ended up trying out a random trailhead we happened across, named, IIRC, Necklace Valley. (Which doesn't sound right.) I think we put in about eight miles... One gyromitra esculenta, a lot of calypso orchids... small trees and giant trees, and white streams splashing down the hillside. Good conversation.

Between not quite enough sleep and everything, I'm feeling vaguely disconnected from the world right now... but then, I expect quite confidently the not enough sleep bit will finally be remedied.
