Nov. 11th, 2004 08:58 pmSo I was contemplating my schedule for next quarter... I'll be on campus M-F (which is a drag, I've enjoyed having some at home time.) I'll be taking a minimum of ten credits, due to my obligations with the Chinese department (Classical, and a class on Tang and Song dynasty literature). I should be volunteering in a lab (I just sent my first actual "will you let me come work for you for free?" letter today, go me). I'd like to take another class, though I haven't figured out what yet. Or rather, the stochastic modeling series started last quarter, and I haven't been able to get anyone to point me towards a good stats class that isn't going to bore me to tears. (Yes, I've done a lot of statistical analysis professionally. It's always come easily to me. But I have no formal training in it.) There are a number of other classes that look amusing as well.
Of course, I'm also not certain how heavy of a class load I want to carry if I'm already adding working in a lab to my schedule. I mean, I'm not *that* busy this quarter, but recently I feel tired even on those rare days when I have gotten enough sleep...
Finally it occurred to me that yeah, my sinuses are still kind of sore, the way they have been for the past... er, eight weeks or so. Gah. I hate antibiotics, but they are there for a reason. I still need to get a reasonable amount of sleep, but maybe I will stop feeling like I've been run over by a truck soon.
