Jan. 24th, 2005 04:43 pmFirst off, our best housekeeper ever, and dear friend, has returned to the area. (BTW,
canyonwren -- Yang says "hi" and wanted to know how you were doing. She's doing well, and has a two year old son now...!) I don't know for certain that she's looking to increase her clientele, but as she's only recently moved back here it seems likely -- if anyone is looking for a housekeeper, I recommend her very strongly. She's great. (And my heavens, our house is all sparkly.)
For those of you who aren't lucky enough to live around Seattle... the last couple of days here have been gorgeous. Warm and bright and springy. (Admittedly, this often happens around the end of January, and then February closes in...) Flocks of joggers and bicyclists have taken to the roads, not to mention children with dogs in tow... I am feeling the call of the seed catalogs. And the rather less welcome beginning of tree pollen season, but oh well.
Hmm. I wonder if I have time to have a garden this year?
