Temptation towards irresponsibility

Today is beautiful, in that warm early spring, the air is soft on my skin
sort of way. It looks like tomorrow will be, as well.

I'm thinking of blowing off spending time in the lab and going hiking.

Actually, Thursdays are kind of the dedicated days for such things, but it
hasn't worked out yet this quarter...

I'm not sure if this is wise.

Well, no. I'm not sure if this is wise in the careful planning and time
management sense. But I am reminded that there are higher orders of
wisdom.
