Mar. 15th, 2005 05:04 pmJittery. Paper's all but done, though I need to write a conclusion, add in the citations, and see if Craig will proofread it. Memorized the titles of the 13 classics, and the four bits the neo-cons thought were important. And the classification scheme... (Not much work, after all my bitching. But... most of them I'm at least passing familiar with, but a couple I really have not dealt with directly at all.)
I'm well enough that my body is starting to resent the lack of activity. That's a lot of the jittery right there. It's been "write a little, go stretch, work on character memorization, go repair the cable for the grape wines, review some sentences... while hanging upside down". I really don't like inactivity. Taiji tonight, which should help.
Reviewing readings from classical. That's the part I'm a little stressed about. Between today and tomorrow I can read through most of what we've done this quarter, but I'm not going to get everything memorized, I'm not going to have all of the characters memorized... that's pretty much just the way it is, but it makes it harder to study, and harder to prioritize what needs to be studied. It would be easier if I knew what I was going to use this for, but of course, I really don't.
I should ask Shifu if there are any martial arts classics she'd like me to translate ;-) Goodness knows that would be more fun than Mengzi. (Why can't we do Zhuangzi?)
