Went in for the O Chem section, paid for the privledge of parking fairly close to Loew... and by the time I finished up with class, I was shakey and lightheaded, and decided that while I probably could make it to my office, I would not be thinking clearly enough to get any work done once I was there. So I drove home.
I actually felt a lot better when I woke up this morning. And while the ankle is still a bit painful, this is not exactly a typical reaction to a sprained ankle. Not quite sure what's up -- best guess at the moment is that while I rolled pretty well, and my ankle is the only thing that got injured per se, I fell a fair ways and there was a lot of impact, and everything got shaken and banged up a bit. I did call my doctor and ask if this was par for the course... and then couldn't for the life of me manage to say my zip code coherently, which was weird.
Despite all of this, I did okay on the O Chem exam. They said this was the highest average they'd seen, and I was above the average... but substantially lower than I'd usually expect, and really not my best work. Lots of stupid mistakes, mostly -- it wasn't about not knowing the material. But hey, I made it in, and didn't go beg for a doctor's note, though I'm kind of wondering if I should have.
