Tonight I begin moving onto the barge. I am quite excited, but a little overwhelemd as well -- lots to do this weekend, and my MS contact isn't writing me back, and I'm rebuilding all of my indices twice a day -- gah!

But craigp will be starting soon at Microsoft, my quarter is shaping up, I'm having a better idea what will be going on at the martial arts school (Shifu is coming back next quarter, but at a somewhat reduced schedule, updates to follow)... Talking to the various departments I will be applying to. (When my research is going well, I feel all optimistic. The last few days I'm mostly been frustrated. Feh.) Haven't yet located a kayak for my morning commute -- anyone have one that's going unused?

Once I get settled in, I'm going to have some kind of a housewarming. Possibly more than one, as a number of people have expressed interest, and the barge isn't that big. Thoughts?
