My friend Corinne (who does not have an LJ, but whom many of you have met) has a three season stream running down her (rather steep) property. For part of its length, it goes through a drain system. They've had a lot of problems with the system becomming clogged, or simply overloaded, have dug it up and reworked it a number of times, and once again have their gardens flooded and are generally sick of it all.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good landscaper who works with drainage? I think she's think daylighting the creek.

Also, as the drain is currently both partially clogged and overloaded, any short term ideas on dealing with the problem? This is the worst it's been in years.
