tylikI seem to have lost my car key. I remember putting it in my pack this morning, prior to hopping on the bike. And now it's not there... though it's possible the slight metallic jingle I heard getting my bike out of the rack this afternoon was it. This wouldn't be half so much of a problem if a) my weapons weren't locked in the car (I have jian and dao this evening) and b) I hadn't been intending to stop by the pharmacy on the way home from class tonight. Craig doesn't have his copy of my car key on him, but promises to stop by the house in Woodinville to see if he can find it. (For which I am immensely grateful, if grumpy about having to ask.)
In other news, I am highly fatigued, and grumpy about that too. Backing up, I ended up with an awful headache on Monday. Taiji helped a lot, but I slept badly that night, and woke up with a headache the next day. Then I was pummelled (okay, I received an hour's long massage, but really, pummelled is the right verb) which got things more or less working again... and honestly, I got a (barely) reasonable amount of sleep last night, so I shouldn't be exhausted like this, but I am. I really hate being tired like this. Life is not nearly so entertaining. There also might be some element of being really worried that my spine has decided to freak out and that I'm going to end up with the same kind of trouble I had last quarter... I tell myself that one bad headache is hardly the fall of a quarter, but it's pretty obnoxious, all the same.
(The headache hasn't returned full force, but the torn up muscles in my neck are still not quite right.)
