random silliness?
Aug. 16th, 2006 12:08 pmIn most werewolf in a modern setting type fiction (that I've read, which probably isn't much of it) the set up seems to be that the werewolves can change form whenever they want, but they have to on the full moon. There's also more than one reference to the idea of giving in to the wolf and letting wolf form predominate.
If a werewolf did so, would they be forced to shift to human form on the new moon? Honestly, I'm not sure that's not worse.
(Nope, not taking on any stock-supernatural-creatures-in-a-modern-setting fiction, just a little loopy from sleep dep.)
(Though if you're looking for some light hearted fluff "Kitty and the Midnight Hour", about a bottom of the pack pecking order werewolf who more or less accidentally starts an NPR call in talk radio show for supernatural creatures is pretty fun.)
