Nov. 3rd, 2006 12:50 pmReading about the Ted Haggard scandal*, is anyone else tempted to say something like:
"Hey, I forgive you. You know, we've been trying to tell everyone for a while now about what horrible things the prejudice against homosexuals can do to the people who are raised with it. The denial, the doubt, the self-hatred... look what it's done to your life. This isn't about your faith, this is about what you are. You may have turned your back on us, you may have spoken against us, but in the end we're you're family, and we haven't turned our backs on your. Come on. The truth will set you free."
Or is it just me?
*Assuming that the allegations are correct, of course.
