tylikYesterday I finally sent the director of proteomics at Case, who I'd been speaking to, a note, reminding him of my existence, asking him for more information about his lab, and asking if he knows what the BSTP time line is (while mentioning that I've been accepted elsewhere and that BSTP is at this point the only other program I'm seriously considering).
I just got invited to interview at Case.
Three minutes later, I got mail from said same director telling me he didn't know about the BSTP time line, but that he'd look into it.
They want me to come interview in mid-March. Which makes sense in terms of the rest of their schedule, but I could wish that it were sooner. Just drag the process out why not... OTOH, I should have heard back about at least one of the training grants by then.
