moving options
Apr. 13th, 2007 06:02 pmSo I'm going to packing up and moving to Cleveland in the early part of June. (Target date is somewhere around June 5 -- and I am giving a group meeting on the first, doing a demo on the second, and there's talk of stuff up at Artspawn on the third...)
Anyhow, at the moment I'm looking at using Movex to haul my stuff. The thing is, it looks like I'll be on the low stuff side for even their smallest allotment. (I'm going to be moving one mattress, one table, one small desk, one chair, two* bicycles and assorted boxes of books, cookware, clothes, a computer, ect.) But then, it's probably still cheaper than renting a u haul and driving, and I'm not really a fan of long drives**.
Any other options I should consider before I solidify plans with the movers? Oh, and if you happen to have a bunch of boxes sitting around, and you don't mind having them sit around for just a few weeks more...
* Probably -- I'm definitely moving one, and at the moment intending to bring my upright as well as K doesn't have one of his own, and I'm still fond enough of the upright that I'll hang onto it given a good excuse.
