Sep. 29th, 2007 06:56 pm$16.50 Costco semi dress pants, FTW.
(Let me explain. I like clothes well enough (just, um, less than a lot of other things in my life) but I hate shopping. Or at least I hate shopping places that aren't funky little ethnic clothing shops or REI and it's discount brethren... and even then, I don't really want to spend the time. And I'd let my wardrobe deteriorate badly before I moved up here -- partly because my body has been changing shape so much -- and now need to dress decently at least from time to time.
Costco is about perfect, in that it avoids most of the scary cultural aspects of shopping, except there's this issue of fit. Especially for dress pants (hello, wushu butt!)... and anything that is going to close across my chest. But, I've lost enough weight that sizes are getting easier even for my basically amazonian frame, and the pants are even long enough. Long enough!!! Which means they're probably supposed to be dragging on the ground or something.)
