...and perhaps next time I will actually seek instruction, or at least instructions on use of something like, say, a soldering iron before I just jump in and use it. (It's not the first time, but I haven't done a lot of soldering, and most of it has been electronics, not construction.) But hey, two paperclips, some fine silverwire, some solder and some thread and my odontophore suspension device is ready for a trial run.
