tylikSo I landed badly from a kick combination yesterday. At first I thought it was really awful, mostly from the cracking ripping noise it made when I landed, but after a bit (I crawled over to the side of the building to whimper and catch my breath) it would take a little weight, so I figured it was just sprained. Stayed off it yesterday, strapped a brace on this morning. Made an appointment, mostly to see if I could get an air cast (it's too swbllen for the brace to fit right), but also because I really don't want anything messing with the retreat.
The people at student health kind of fruck when they saw it. (It's swollen, and kind of an amazing purple up the side - and that bit does worry me, because it didn't hit there, so the bruising is from internal tearing.) So now I'm in the ER, for films and to talk to an orthopedist.
This is my first forms injury (worth mentioning) ever. And of course the ER is made of slow.
