tylikT is for tomatillo, tedious but tasty
Yup, it is another big pot of beans with squash, peppers and tomatillos. Num. Though not really enough squash.
Yesterday's vocabulary word was "hail". I've decided that it really is best for me not to look things up before going out, because it's better practice to try and describe what I'm talking about using what vocabulary I already have... but to look things up when I get back because my neighbor has a bit of an accent.
Today we tried a new game - me trying to explain English grammatical concepts in Chinese. This is an awesome game, but quite challenging. He gets the difference between "a little" and "few" (which is usage, anyway, right?) but our first foray into "to be" was kind of rough. English does just seem arbitrarily complicated, sometimes. He really likes the abstract explanations... when I can manage to make them.
