* 4 pints of pumpkin butter from the farmer's market. (Pumpkin butter hot chocolate. Mmm.)
* Culinary grade green tea. (Because I'm not putting the good stuff in smoothies.)
* And the fine folks of the farmer's market generally. Hey, I wasn't that late, and I got it all home.
* My new assistants. They're both so *good*, and picking up the surgical techniques amazingly. I might even try to have them doing experiments while I'm gone, and they're pretty new to the lab for that. (And department of aw - S told her family about the work, and her brother - I think - said "Only you would be interested in slugs." To which she replied "No! There's a whole lab! I've found my people!"
* My students. I may be exhausted and randomized with student meetings, but they're great. And it's fun to be walking past the health sciences library and having people randomly waving from the third floor.
* A source for fresh local organic duck eggs. Better, that I just walk over to the chemistry building to pick them up. (Poached duck egg and soba noodles.)
* PCB fab. (Though I have to prepare for the review session tomorrow before I can play more.)
* Home. The ongoing collaboration of great awesomeness. Windows full of plants, computers, microscopes, electronics, and not a lot of furniture. I can breathe here. (Well, metaphorically, if not always actually. My sinuses are really not liking the cold dry air...)
