tylikWe survived the first real day of gaming. Didn't get that much done, but then we spent the first couple of hours finishing up people's characters, so maybe that's not a suprise.
Note to self: never assume a ten year old will insist on a more original character... He's doing an amazing job of creating the most wet behind the ears teenage elven sorcerer the world has ever seen. Another note to self: always rely on the proven gamers to advance the plot. (Though the bit where he tied himself in the tent cords was amusing... looked like a kitten who'd been playing with a ball of yarn.) *I* thought the boys would grandstand, ham it up, and otherwise hog the stage.
Of course, I shouldn't have reminded him about my library upstairs, either. (He's aware that in one issue of Elfquest there is some nominally racy material. Not sure he's found it yet. Not sure he'll recognize it if he does find it...)
