tylikToday's Google logo? Playing with my head. It's a hazard, I tell you... (To my time, mostly ;-) )
We're going to be in a CSA! A labmate reminded me about signing up, and while his CSA was insufficiently organic, I found another, and they look pretty awesome. And the pick up site is on my way to the farmer's market.
Another nifty thing about our apartment - there's this table in the laundry room, on which people tend to leave useful things - books they've read, appliances, etc. Last weekend there was an end table cabinet I almost took, a pile of MLE review books, a set of pans, and a GE stand mixer... that all disappeared in about two hours. (And a set of full flannel sheets that used to be mine that'd turned out to be synthetic. I've also distributed plants that way when I'd found myself overwhelmed with starts.) K'd been wanting to pick up some larger pots for the peppers, and then found one there later that day.
Kind of a nice extension to the ecosystem.
