tylikYay! Thai fisherman's pants. And none too soon - my favorite lightweight pants were... considerably lighter weight, and increasingly ragged.
But then it occurred to me that if I could find matching boxy shirts that could pass as jackets, I could wear them together, and they'd pass as academic professional - at least for teaching.
Sadly, the one that worked best was these:

and while I must get one... um. I was hoping something that would tone down the funkiness of the pants, not dances with cultural appropriation.
