tylikFriday, we still had chicks. This clutch hung around a while - they learned to fly to the upper window sills, but mostly stayed around the nest. Monday, they were gone, and Kendrick and I (who are both in the habit of checking out the nest every time we walk by) have been joking, a little sadly, about empty nest syndrome.
A few minutes ago a couple of adults discovered the nest site, and seem to be working away at renovations.
ETA: Um, actually at the moment they appear to be engaging in a different phase of reproductive behavior. It's kind of adorable.
(And yeah, the crop on the icon above is all wrong, and I'm going to have to redo it.)
