Jul. 27th, 2010 06:27 pmThe chocolate soy protein powder that I picked up yesterday has fructose in it. How unnecessary. And how annoying that I managed to miss this when I picked it up. Double foo.
It's way more processed than I usually like to eat, but I've been noticing that I keep scrambling to get enough protein in the evenings, and I thought it would be nice for throwing in the blueberry smoothies. Because half a block of silken tofu is more of a pain. Clearly what I need to do is get more of the really good cocoa so I will not be tempted by inferior substitutes. Though darn, unflavored unsweetened soy protein would still be pretty excellent.
