Steamed beans (I think they're blue lake, one of my favorites)
Chick peas (which I still eat by the handful out of the pressure cooker - I make a batch about once a week)
Soba noodles
Fresh tomato (an ugly heirloom tomato that tastes like the holy saint of nightshades)
Fresh basil and rau ram (aka vietnamese cilantro - one ambitious shoot of which was trying to put down roots in the pepper pot)
A little sambal oolek, some tamari, and a dash each of olive oil and lemon juice
Almost took me longer to type this up than to make it. (Why, yes, it's a study in mixed metaphors. A very tasty one.)
