So for various rather annoying reasons, I've read a lot of men who haven't been raped talking about rape recently. This has left me a little disgruntled (and hey, were I not mostly into chain-napping at the moment, I'd be almost tempted to wander down to Euclid so I would have a good excuse to soundly rebuke the first guy who made inappropriate comments about my body.) One of the most amazing statements was about how a straight man being raped by a man would be a far, far more horrible experience than a straight woman being raped by a man. Because, y'know, she's straight, so she can't entirely not like the experience? Or maybe it's because OMG, it's the gay!
Really, I think the argument comes down to certain men assuming male sexual aggression, seriously not wanting to be on the receiving end of it, but figuring women should just shut up and spread their legs. I mean, they like men, right? And men are just like that. They must want it. You can tell. They have breasts.
Anyhow, I'm kind of bored and sleepy, and I figured this was the sort of divisive discussion to perk things up for the afternoon.
So: Would you rather be raped by a same sex person or an opposite sex person? Would you rather be raped by a man or a woman? Do you have a preference either way? Does this have anything to do with your own sexual orientation if this in any way relevant? And by the way, I'm not talking about some rape fantasy rape, I'm talking rape. No fun at all. Just, y'know, not fun with your choice of plumbing.
