In the last 40 minutes or so I:
* Realized that my touchbook wasn't charging
* Realized that the pin from the charging port had broken off inside the charging plug
* Tried and failed to remove the pin with forceps, so:
* Soldered a needle to it and pulled it out
* Realized I had a spare part for the charging port in an already halfway dissected old piece of hardware
* Dissected it the rest of the way, removed the spare
* Cracked the case on the original, swapped out the part
* Reassembled and tested everything
* Realized the phrase "enough cyanoacrylate to make a molluscan neurobiologist blush" comes trippingly to my tongue.
Okay, not great feats of technical prowess, but hey. I haven't packed or sat, and I'm just now grabbing a bit to eat. Still.
