Jul. 13th, 2011 07:35 amSo I'm in the exam room waiting to get checked in prior to the next procedure. (Which will be the procedure I want, but performed by a procedure doc I'm less than thrilled with in terms of communications skills. Oh well. It was that or put it off a month or so.)
Coming in, there were a number of birds flying about near the front of the building. One of them seemed singularly inept, and looking closer, I'm pretty sure it was a juvenile. Juvenile starling, in particular. So after watching it careen about and kind of bounce off things, it landed near me (well, crashed into the bench, and then pulled itself up. I think it's getting better, but this flying thing? Harder than it looks.)
It just sat there, looking at me, so I reached out and stroked it, which it seemed to enjoy. Must go now.
