More refrigerator woes

So the refrigerator repair man came back, took apart the fridge, and identified the problem as being a switch on the thermostat which is now fused. (I'd kind of like to know how that happened...)

The part has been ordered, he'll be back Wednesday -- by which I mean a week from tomorrow -- to install it.

Maybe I will bring that dorm fridge upstairs... though it is kind of interesting to carry on with reduced fridge space.
