Feel much better. Started feeling better before I went to bed last night... It's fairly likely that I'd been forgetting to eat salty food again, and had sweated too much salt out of my system with the cardio work. (If your sodium levels go too low, your potassium levels end up higher -- and I'm sure all the bannanas I'd been scrafing didn't help.) Anyhow, this will compromise your muscle's ability to contract and release right. Or so goes the theory -- I've been bitched out for having overly low sodium levels before, but usually I haven't noticed anything. Usually I only have to pay attention to this during the summer.

I feel kinda dumb.

Survived wushu. Decided my lungs were cranky enough I would take some albuterol right before class so hopefully I wouldn't have to take a larger amount during class. This worked, as in, I could mostly breath, but I felt weak and shakey all through class. So class was alright, but it would have been a lot more fun without the albuterol (except the not breathing part). I'm annoyed -- I usually only have to use albuterol a couple times a year, and this is the third time this weak. I'm stepping up the preventative measures, but I'm also going to talk to my allergist when I go in for my next shot. In some ways, this is getting to be some of the worst asthma I've had.

My stances are continuing to improve, though.

I think I'm going to try to push cardio (probably high aerobic to low anaerobic levels) all week, and see if that helps anything. And more bagua. And salt! (Turns out my favorite whole foods bars are also little potassium bombs.)
